Join me at Necessary and Sufficient Coffee Printers Row for a small-group jewelry making experience!

The workshop begin with brief history of gemstone beads, lecture on how to identify natural beads, and different categories of man-made/ treated gemstones.
Then the students will go through a variety of natural gemstones from my collection and their healing properties to build their first strand. We’ll have a step-by-step instruction on selecting and prepping the beads and cord, stringing the bracelet and securing the knot.
After that the students will select their second strand to learn about a different beading technique with adjustable closure. I will have one-on-one time with each student to answer any question and demonstrate in person.
Finally, we’ll finish with a mini lesson on stamping where students gets to stamp their own initials on silver or gold-filled discs and learn how to attach them.
Each student will go home with two finished gemstone bracelets, note cards with their healing properties, and gift boxes.

Ticket cost includes:

  • Semi-precious gemstones 40-56 pieces.
  • 925 Silver or Gold-filled findings.
  • Brief lecture on the history of gemstone beads, identification and classification.
  • Hands-on instruction on prepping, stringing and securing the bracelets with two different techniques.
  • Lesson on stamping.
