Description
Join me at Necessary and Sufficient Coffee Printers Row for a small-group jewelry making experience!
The workshop begin with brief history of gemstone beads, lecture on how to identify natural beads, and different categories of man-made/ treated gemstones.
Then the students will go through a variety of natural gemstones from my collection and their healing properties to build their first strand. We’ll have a step-by-step instruction on selecting and prepping the beads and cord, stringing the bracelet and securing the knot.
After that the students will select their second strand to learn about a different beading technique with adjustable closure. I will have one-on-one time with each student to answer any question and demonstrate in person.
Each student will go home with two finished gemstone bracelets, note cards with their healing properties, and gift boxes.
Ticket cost includes:
- Semi-precious gemstones 40-56 pieces.
- Brief lecture on the history of gemstone beads, identification and classification.
- Hands-on instruction on prepping, stringing and securing the bracelets with two different techniques.
